Superintendent's Greeting

It is with great pride that I welcome you to Maple Valley Schools on behalf of the Board of Education, Staff, and Community. We are a very close-knit community made up of two small villages that have worked together for the last 40 years to form a school district that is a great place to learn. Maple Valley is a large Class C school system of nearly 1,300 pre-school and kindergarten through the twelfth grade students. This size really allows us to be big enough to provide most types of programming, yet small enough to care personally for each of our students.

The first thing you should notice, as you enter our buildings, is how warm and friendly our staff and students are toward visitors. You won't be a visitor for long. We work hard to provide a solid core curriculum that gives students a well-rounded education. Many of our students are well prepared to further their education at prestigious post-secondary institutions all over the United States . We prepare kids for many technical programs also at community colleges in the area.

We take pride in being able to provide a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. These activities range from music, theater, art, and sports to academic challenges. We are also well-connected to three colleges and universities, which our high school students can attend through dual enrollment. Please be sure to pick up a copy of the District's annual report in any of our buildings. In it you can find more information about us and what we offer.

Our conservative, family-oriented community provides the foundation of strong moral character-building that we attempt to instill in our students. We invite you to come in, visit, and stay a while. Maple Valley is truly a great place to raise a family. Welcome!
